SAR Vessels – Iskra Shipyard

Advanced Electronics Solution.

Complete turnkey marine electronics solution for a fleet of seven advanced Search and Rescue (SAR) vessels built by Iskra Shipyard. Responsible for the complete scope of marine electronics design, engineering, integration, installation and commissioning, Locomarine acted as the lead marine electronics integrator throughout the entire project lifecycle.

The vessels were equipped with an advanced integrated bridge system based on the TimeZero navigation platform, combining navigation, communication, surveillance, and data management functions into a unified operational environment. Integration with the Croatian Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre (MRCC) Coastal Monitoring System enabled seamless real-time information exchange, improving mission coordination, situational awareness, and operational response capabilities.

Through close cooperation with the shipyard, technology partners, and end users, Locomarine delivered a reliable and fully integrated solution designed to meet the demanding requirements of modern SAR operations. Comprehensive factory acceptance testing, onboard commissioning, harbor acceptance trials, and sea trials ensured compliance with project specifications and operational requirements.
