Complete Electronic Refit Successfully Delivered for Explorer Yacht Indigo
We are pleased to announce the successful completion of a comprehensive electronic refit aboard the explorer motor yacht Indigo, carried out in Athens.
The project encompassed the design of the yacht’s navigation bridge, together with the engineering, installation, integration, and commissioning of a complete suite of advanced navigation, communication, surveillance, and connectivity systems. The result is a modern, ergonomic bridge layout and a fully integrated technology platform designed to enhance operational efficiency, safety, and the onboard experience.
Key upgrades included the integration of FarSounder forward-looking sonar, the TimeZero navigation platform, Furuno S-band and X-band radar systems, FLIR M400XR and FLIR M300 thermal cameras, Starlink and Iridium satellite communication systems, AXIS network surveillance cameras, and new MF/HF and VHF radio communications. Every system was carefully integrated to ensure intuitive operation, reliable performance, and seamless interoperability, providing the crew with exceptional situational awareness and dependable communications during both coastal cruising and long-range expeditions.
Following installation, extensive testing and commissioning confirmed the performance of all onboard systems, delivering a robust solution tailored to the demanding requirements of explorer yachts.
Completed in Athens, this project demonstrates our expertise in delivering bespoke bridge design and integrated electronic refits for expedition yachts. By combining thoughtful engineering, meticulous installation, and advanced system integration, we continue to provide owners and captains with technology solutions that enhance safety, situational awareness, connectivity, and confidence at sea.
